Pellets of straw

Straw pellets are pellets made from pressed cereal straw or oil plant straw. Like wood pellets, they are primarily used as a renewable energy source (bioenergy).
One tonne of straw pellets has a calorific value of around 5000 kWh. With special heating systems in which the pellets are computer-controlled and conveyed into the combustion chamber via a screw conveyor, they can be used to heat buildings almost as conveniently as oil or gas.
Straw pellets for heating are a good alternative to wood pellets and can be used to generate environmentally friendly bioenergy. Our straw pellets consist of a 100% pure, high-quality straw mix and contain no additives. As straw is an abundant and rapidly renewable raw material, the price of straw pellets is also stable.
